Course / Unit Evaluation

Course Areas

A Course Area is a general classification that groups courses into subject areas when they are accredited or registered by the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS). For example the Sociology and Psychology courses are both categorised as 'Behavioural Sciences'. This allows students studying studying both courses to complete a major in Behavioural Sciences by selecting units from either subject to count towards their major.

Further information

The BSSS has further information about Course Areas, including a list of which courses are grouped under which Area categories, on their Course Areas page.
