Students with disability
Children and young people with diverse learning and support needs, including students with disability, are welcomed at our school. We make adjustments to help students learn and take part in school activities to meet every student at their point of need.
Adjustments may include:
- providing extra visual cues
- breaking down tasks
- checking for understanding
- smaller group learning opportunities
- access to learning support assistants
- physical changes to the environment
- access to calming spaces for regulation
- helping students to communicate.
