Treasure Island

Tickets are now on sale for the 2025 school production of Treasure Island.

We have 5 shows across 7-9 August:

Last year, we sold out every public show and had a waitlist of over 15 people. We’re hoping for similar numbers this year, so get in quick! Please also encourage your students to book tickets; there’s a huge community of young actors, designers and techies behind this production, and it means a lot to them to be supported by their school community.

Tickets are available here: https://events.humanitix.com/treasure-island-ncpa

Based on the novel by Robert Louis Steven, this breathtaking adaptation of Treasure Island is a stunning, swashbuckling epic for every pirate at heart. On a dark and stormy night, somewhere in England, somewhen in a time of terrible pirates, talking parrots and terrific insults… a treasure map falls into the hands of fourteen-year-old Jim. And the adventure begins. As Jim sets off to find buried treasure, rough and cunning pirates start to close in. And none are more cunning that Long John Silver, the one-legged man who haunts Jim’s nightmares and saves her life.

This production is The Odyssey, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Our Flag Means Death come to life. With epic swordfights, battles (coached by NIDA Fight Directors), stunning designs, and truly incredible insults (Seriously. “Ya arrant lobster-heads!”), this is sure to be a show to remember. It’s also very funny.
